Lance Tankard, Sue Barker’s Husband

Sue Barker is an English television presenter and former professional tennis player. Sue was born in April 1956 in Paignton, and now resides near the Surrey-Sussex border with her husband Lance Tankard and their dogs.

Sue Barker and Lance Tankard got married in 1988. They have been married for 29 years to date. Prior to tying the knot with Lance, Sue was associated with Syd Ball, Cliff Richard and Stephen Shaw.

She started dating an Australian tennis player Syd Ball in 1977, and even got engaged with him. In 1978, Barker broke off her engagement with Ball. In 1982, Barker met singer Cliff Richard; the two started dating. In 1986, her romance with Richard had ended. Same year, she began a brief relationship with tennis player Stephen Shaw.

In 1988, Barker married a former policeman Lance Tankard. Lance Tankard is now a designer (according to some sources). The couple lives in a mansion on a 26-acre estate near a village on the Surrey-Sussex border, together with their several Rottweilers.

Lance Tankard and Sue Barker celebrated their silver wedding anniversary in the summer of 2013. She should be celebrating her 30th pearl wedding anniversary in 2018.

    I was trying to get hold of lance and his brother as our old school was being knocked down and the old pupils were saying goodbye
